The SIDs in Mayfield
After receiving feedback from the Mayfield Parish Survey that the number one issue of concern is traffic speeding through the village. Mayfield Parish Council has been working hard with the relevant agencies to provide the village with Speed Indicator Displays (SID).

Proven to reduce overall traffic speed and used in most parishes in East Staffordshire the SIDS will be installed in early 2023 along parts of the B5032 Ashbourne Road in Mayfield and Wallash. For more information visit the Speed Watch page.
