As you may be aware, there is an election being held for Mayfield Parish Councillors on Thursday 4^th May 2023. Below is some information for parishioners and potential candidates.

Registering your nomination

Note that all nominations have to be addressed and DELIVERED BY HAND to

Note: You cannot post, email or fax your completed nomination to the Returning Officer they must be delivered by hand to the ESBC Town Hall in Burton upon Trent

Pre-checking nomination forms

You are asked to get your nomination forms pre-checked by the Elections Team before delivering the by hand. This will save any additional journeys required to correct mistakes. To do this scan your completed form and email it to.

 elections@eaststaffsbc.gov.uk

Note this will not be accepted as your nomination.

The Elections Team will check it for errors and omission (like a passport application), but you will still need to deliver it by hand to the Town Hall.

There are some printed copies of the Nomination Pack that are available to potential candidates that don’t have access to the Internet or a printer. These can be picked up from Mayfield Memorial Hall from Sunday 19^th March 2023
